The Egyptian ECMO Working Group
Dear colleagues and friends
On behalf of EEWG-the Egyptian ECMO Working Group (A branch of the Egyptian College of Critical Care Physicians-ECCCP) it is my pleasure to welcome you to EEWG website.
EEWG through its leadership was the first to inaugurate ECMO practice in Egypt through the ECMO Center at the Critical Care Center of Cairo University. Since 2011 , we were able to provide educational programs and support to institutions delivering extra-corporeal life support in Egypt through continuing education, sharing knowledge and research. It is our objective through our working group to advance the science and practice of extra-corporeal life support and continue to be the beacon of knowledge of this specialty in Egypt.
This website has the objective to provide all Egyptian clinicians and specially intensivists with the latest knowledge in this evolving field and information about our organization. Through this site you will know about our recent and future educational events and hands on courses, information about international events as well and finally knowledge that will advance you successfully in your practice and career.
